It is turning out to be a bad year for bad boy with golden heart – Salman Khan. After the infamous spat with Shah Rukh in girlfriend Katrina’s birthday party, Bollywood had been divided into two camps. Salman lost many of his dear ones to bitter rival Shah Rukh.

After she agreed to do ‘Temptation Reloaded’ with SRK, Katrina, not minding the spat between the Khans, has signed a new film with SRK. And if sources are to be believed, she nodded to the YRF venture during Sallu Miya’s absence. Katrina’s final nod to Yash Chopra came on Sept 16 – the day Salman left for his 40 day shoot in Paris and London for Vipul Shah’s ‘London Dreams’. Poor chap!

The Bachchans – Big and Small, are also in the YRF star cast to spice up things further. The film is to be directed by the legendary director himself. Perhaps, this further induced Sallu’s lady love to assert her independence and she was approached by none other than Yash Raj Chopra!

Added to this, there is SRK’s ‘Temptations Reloaded’ tour round the corner. The event will take place in mid-October in Dubai, where Katrina is all set to perform with Shah Rukh, while Salman is away in London.

Katrina is already doing a Yash Raj produced film, opposite Salman’s another enemy, John Abraham. It seems that Salman’s lady love is spreading her wings and is ready to fly. Let’s see whether Sallu shows his violent bad boy side to Katrina or his golden heart by congratulating his sweetheart on her success. Either ways, the loss is his. Accept our sympathies, Sallu!

Shahrukh Khan visited the popular gurudwara in Amristar on a day back. King Khan offered prayers at Golden Temple last evening. Shahrukh said, “Earlier too, I have come here. My mother brought me here in my childhood. We have earlier also visited the Golden Temple for a shoot. It was important for our movie to shoot here, which became one of the reasons to offer prayers here. There is Ramadan too and I think all this has mixed together”.

The actor is in town for the shooting of his upcoming flick and also the directorial venture of Aditya Chopra “Rab Ne Bana De Jodi”. The film is produced by Yash Chopra after a long time. During his four day schedule, Shahrukh will shoot at the Golden Temple, the Khalsa College at Attari border.

The 43 years old superstar start his Bollywood career with the debut movie “Deewana” in 1992 and now he is also begin his acting career on the small screen.

And now, there are fears that the makers of KUSELAN will dub it in Hindi and release it before SRK’s

BILLOO BARBER, the Hindi remake of the same story. But Priyadarshan, who is busy finishing the Hindi version with Shah Rukh, is unperturbed.

KUSELAN, the Tamil version of the Malayalam super-hit KATHA PARAYUMPOL, which deals between the relationship of a superstar and a barber, has made it to the top of the box office charts.

According to Priyadarshan, the original Malayalam film, written by Sreenivasan, is very different from both KUSELAN and BILLOO BARBER.

But the question is: Would the contract prevent the makers of KUSELAN from finding any loopholes in it to release the film in a dubbed Hindi version? If they do, would it affect BILLOO BARBER?

Manoj Kumar wins case against Om Shanti Om After winning a permanent injunction order from the Dindoshi session’s court on the scenes in Om Shanti Om that lampoon the legendary Manoj Kumar, the actor’s advocate said they are also planning for a criminal suit to be filed against the makers of the movie.

“We have won the case as the court has ordered a permanent injunction on the scenes which mock the actor. Now we are planning for a criminal case,” said advocate Ashok Saraogi.

Saraogi said they are also planning to file a criminal case against the director Farah Khan and producers Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan for purposely defaming a person in public.

He said, “We will be filing the case against the makers of the movie under sections 499 and 500 which says defaming a person advertently either through words, print, movies or any other medium is a criminal offence.”

City Civil Court Judge D R Mahajan of Dindoshi Goregaon, in his judgment, has ordered the producers and Sony Entertainment Television to edit the scenes before showing the film on the channel.

The news is doing the rounds that Katrina is no longer a part of Shahrukh’s Temptation Reloaded Tour. It is said that Katrina, who was part of the tour along with Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Javed Ali, Anushka Dandekar and Ganesh Hedge, has fallen victim to King Khan’s wrath. She is out of the tour now.

But is it fair on the part of Shahrukh to come down heavily on Katrina because of Salman? Well, he will reap what he sow at the end of the day because Katrina has a huge fan following.

No one could anticipate that a star-studded birthday party of Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif would turn into a battle of the two Indian super stars – Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan – dividing the industry into two camps.

The two superstars were caught in a war of words on the July 16 party that Salman threw for current girlfriend Katrina, which later turned ugly.

Salman was reportedly instigating Shah Rukh from the beginning of the party by speaking about their reality shows – Dus Ka Dum and Kya aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? respectively. Salman claimed that his show Dus Ka Dum had garnered more TRPs than Shah Rukh’s, said sources.

Salman scoffed at Shah Rukh by saying that in spite of being a super star he could not make his show a hit.

Shah Rukh initially did not pay any heed to Salman’s comments. The final blow came when Shah Rukh made a comment on Salman’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai, inviting a furious retaliation from Salman.

The incident occurred late in the night, when many of the guests had left.

Though Aamir Khan tried his best to resolve the dispute that arose between Salman and Shah Rukh on Katrina’s birthday party, the two are not in a mood for compromise as both have got the support from their well wishers in the industry.

Salman, who is known for his loyalty towards friends, got supportive calls from old time friends like Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Khanna, said sources.

Fardeen Khan and Zayed Khan also showed their concern for the actor by calling him.

Ranbir Kapoor, who worked with Salman in Saawariya, was the only newcomer to jump into the camp fight by calling him to express his sympathy, sources added.

If Salman had his supporters, so did King Khan. Veterans like Yash Chopra and Javed Akhtar called Shah Rukh to enquire about the incident. Besides, Karan Johar, Sajid Khan and Farhan Akhtar once again proved their loyalty towards the actor by offering their support.

Kunal Kohli also called the actor to know about his well being.

“While Salman has the support of actors, Shah Rukh has the support of the directors. It’s an advantage for Shah Rukh,” remarked an industry watcher.

Bachchans World Tour titled Unforgettables is in trouble now. Once again the cold war between the Bachchans and Shahrukh Khan flares up, though both the parties, like always, continue to maintain a stoic silence. The latest buzz doing around the industry is that Bachchans will be taking their Unforgettables world tour shows to London soon, Shahrukh Khan will be performing in London on the very same day with his world tour troupe of Temptation Reloaded.

There was also buzz that Unforgettables event is failling short of finances. Moreover, Viraf rubbishes the rumours. He questioned, “Who told you? We have left no stone unturned for Unforgettables. It is going to be a spectacular show which no body has ever seen before. If we did not have finances, we would have not been able to do it. We have our finances in place and everything is rolling smoothly. There is no problem at all”.

When we checked with Viraf Sarkari from Wizcraft Entertainment, the comapany that’s organizing the Unforgettables tour, he replied, “I have not heard if Shahrukh has kept his show on the same day. I have no idea about this. But he is an individual person. If he wants to do show on the same day then he is most welcome. But I have no comments about that as I have yet not eard about it from mine sources”.

Anyhow, an insider claims that one of the biggest financers in United State has pulled out from putting money in the Bachchans Unforgettables tour and the same financer has gone ahead to invest on Shahrukh Khan’s Tempation Reloaded World tour. We asked to Ali Morano, who is handling Shahrikh Khans’ shows and he replied, “We have no overseas financer on board yet”.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the winning bids for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Private Limited bagged the Kolkata team in the IPL, Vijay Mallya won the Bangalore team and Mukesh Ambani got the Mumbai team for BCCI’s Twenty20 tournament.

Another Bollywood star Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia have got the Mohali/Chandigarh while Delhi has gone to the GMR group.

Hyderabad team has gone to Deccan Chronicle while Jaipur and Chennai have gone to Emerging Media and India Cement respectively.

Mallya bid $111.6 million for the Bangalore team.

“I was the under bidder for Mumbai at $111.6. I won Bangalore at that amount,” Mallya said.

Speaking to CNN-IBN, Shah Rukh, whose movie Chak De India on Indian women hockey team was a runaway hit, said, “The idea is not how much money is involved, it’s about owning a big city team and promoting sports. No question of brand building involved in it. I bid for four places, including Delhi. The idea was to own a big city team”.

“The idea is to provide a platform to the young sportstars to perform. We all want to nurture the talent in the team,” Shah Rukh said.

“I may call the team Shah Rukh XI.”

“I adore Sourav Ganguly and I hope he will lead the team. I will have experts to work out the modalities in the next 30 days. We will try to create a team that has a good winning combination. I will get experts to explain to us how the best combination can be done. I will not be a selector for the team,” he said.

“IPL has a good marriage with entertainment. The idea is to bring business and entertainment to the business of sports in order to promote sports. I have a huge passion for sports. We will try to do the same for football and hockey as well,” he added.

Earlier three groups – Future Group, ICICI Venture and Sahara Hospitality – were disqualified by the BCCI. The IPL bids base amount was set at $50 million.

The IPL Council, headed by BCCI Vice President Lalit Modi, met in Mumbai before the names of the successful bidders were announced to the media.

Indian stars Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly and retired Australian cricketers Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath are among the 79 players who have been roped in by the IPL to play in the Twenty20 tournament from April 18 at different centres in the country.

The players’ bids are to be held next month and a top BCCI source said that even non-contracted (to BCCI) Indian players have been guaranteed a minimum of $15,000 by the IPL.
