No edited quotes. No media meddling. Her fans get to hear straight
from the mare’s mouth on Twitter. Yes, ever since Bollywood actress
Priyanka Chopra began tweeting on the popular social networking site,
her number of followers has been on the rise.
Today, she has a whopping 21, 770 followers who check out her posts on
Twitter. And the actress isn’t disappointing them either. She posts
her thoughts regularly, despite her busy work schedule.
Not just sharing her thoughts, Priyanka is also promoting her upcoming
film Kaminey on Twitter. She has launched ‘The Kaminey Contest’ in
which any participant who gives correct answer to the questions will
get the movie’s audio CD personally autographed by Priyanka.
The response to the contest has been great.
Priyanka tweeted on the website: “Thanks for your overwhelming
response to the contest…I’ll be sending the 50 CDs with all my love
soon.”
In fact, Priyanka has been very candid in her posts on Twitter.
Perhaps that is why a lot of people are following her entries
regularly, more than that of other Bollywood tweeps like Mallika
Sherawat and Gul Panag.
Just recently, when she was under the weather, Priyanka tweeted: “Down
with the flu or viral or some such thing that is making me miserable.
Ugh! I hate being sick! Had to cancel shoot. Guilty.”
Meanwhile, her ‘Kaminey’ with Shahid Kapur releases next Friday.
