There are strong chances of Aamir Khan joining Shah Rukh Khan’s ambititious Temptations World Tour in 2009. The Temptations is SRK’s answer to the Bachchan family’s Unforgettable World Tour. For weeks now the King Khan was trying to rope in Aamir for his shows abroad. The tour organisers Morani brothers with whom Aamir had given one of his biggest hits, Raja Hindustani too were willing to offer a huge sum of money to Aamir for his participation. But Aamir had not given his consent to the same. Earlier, Katrina was confirmed to join the Temptations Tour with a teaser performance in Dubai in the month of October.
Our sources have revealed, “Aamir has tentatively given his nod but its only for one show which shall be performed in the US. He has also put forth the condition of getting along his nephew, Imraan Khan along with him to perform as well. The Temptations Tour organisers have been more than willing to accomodate Imraan as he is fast emerging as the new hearththrob amongst the teenaged Bollywood film lovers the world over. This participation is being seen as a smart well planned move by Aamir as he knows well that the time when the tour takes place in 2009, it will time for his film, 3 Idiots also Imraan starrer Delhi Belly produced by him to release. So, it will be the right opportunity to market his film with the NRI audiences abroad using the Temptations platform. Plus, the huge sum offered for that just one show is something even more than what SRK gets for doing one film!” -(SAMPURN)
