Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has been signed on to act as lead in the Bollywood version of the super hit Hollywood series Indiana Jones.
The Indian Indiana Jones is to be directed by Santosh Sivan of Halo, Malli and the Terrorist fame. He unites with Shah Rukh Khan after their last project together, Asoka, after a gap of seven long years.
Shah Rukh Khan will be playing an adventurer in search of lost treasure like the Indiana Jones character. The fantasy adventure-action film is still in the pre-production stage.
Shah Rukh had always evinced a desire to act in another project with Santhosh Sivan. He was ecstatic when this out and out action flick landed in his hands. The movie will have small elements of comedy and romance as well.
Santosh Sivan will start work on this movie after the release of his much-anticipated film on Kashmir ‘Tahaan’
