One of the blockbusters of Indian film Industry “Amar Akbar Anthony” will be remade . The Khan brothers – Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail – will reprise the characters made famous by Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor repectively. Salman Khan requested director to cast his girlfriend Katrina in the movie because the superstar wanted to play the lead opposite his ladylove.
According to the latest buzz doing around the industry, recently announced sexiet women alive Katrina Kaif has also joined the cast and will be seen to play a Parveen Babi’s character in a new way. Well, this will be the second time the off screen couple Salman and Katrina will romance each other on screen. First time they were seen in the box office hit movie “Maine Pyaar Kyun Kia”.
Sohail Khan has bought the rights of Manmohan Desai’s 1977 superhit movie. The new version of “Amar Akbar Anthony” will be directed by David Dhawan. It is seems to hit the floors early next year (2009), after Salman Khan completes all his pending projects at the end of current year.
