Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has apparently charged a whooping 1.5 crore for her forthcoming project Robot. She will star opposite southern superstar Rajnikant. Interestingly, before the role came to Ash, newcomer Deepika Padukone was approached. She turned down the offer. According to reports, Rajnikant then told the Big B he would like to work with Aishwarya, and Bachchan senior agreed. That makes us wonder if Ash agreed to do the film by choice, or to make her father-in-law happy.
