The Vikram-Trisha starrer Bheemaa, which has been delayed many times over will finally see the light of day in 2008. The film was screened for the Censor Board on New Year’s Day and it has been has been passed with an ‘A’ certificate.
The board members justified the ‘A’ certificate saying that some scenes have a lot of violence in them, which could not be deleted. These scenes are integral to the film. However most of the members were impressed with the slick manner in which the film has been presented.
Bheemaa has been directed by Lingusamy and produced by AM Ratnam’s Sri Surya Movies. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music, and it has been at the top of the charts for many months now.
